Your agreement with us
These terms describe our website and video production services. A paid project begins with a written scope identifying the customer, deliverables, price, timing, and applicable policy versions, followed by your explicit acceptance and the agreed deposit. An inquiry or account registration alone does not purchase a production or authorize a charge.
You must be an adult able to enter into an agreement and authorized to act for any organization you represent. A signed or explicitly accepted project-specific term takes precedence over an inconsistent general term. Mandatory legal rights continue to apply.
Authority Video and project scope
The standard Authority Video offer is $1,295 USD for a video up to two minutes, including Story Discovery Loop, script development, an authorized Self Clone for the production, human-directed portrait and landscape compositions, downloadable finished files and captions, an adaptive viewing page and website embed, three months of hosting from first publication, and one enhancement pass. Existing customer agreements retain their recorded scope and allowances.
Your written scope identifies the message, production brief, deliverables, agreed timing, technical formats, any viewing or support allowances, and any custom work or additional charges. Delivery dates depend on the agreed schedule and timely receipt of materials, payments, decisions, and feedback. There is no universal turnaround guarantee.
Price and payment
The payment amounts and due dates are stated in your accepted scope before work begins. Clean final delivery and public publication require final approval and satisfaction of the agreed payment obligations. Existing engagements retain their accepted payment schedules; an inquiry is not a payment or purchase.
Applicable taxes and any additional charges are disclosed before you accept the relevant charge. Extra work requires an agreed scope and price. A payment receipt or confirmation is recorded separately from creative approval.
We may pause work or withhold unreleased deliverables while an agreed payment is overdue. Cancellation, refunds, and payment concerns are addressed in the Cancellation and Refund Policy, without limiting rights provided by law.
Your materials and permissions
You retain rights you hold in the materials you supply. You give us permission to use, copy, edit, and process those materials as needed to perform the accepted project, including through the production providers and collaborators used for that work.
You are responsible for having permission to use supplied recordings, voices, likenesses, logos, music, images, claims, and other material. Identify confidentiality restrictions and third-party licensing limits before sending materials. You are responsible for reviewing factual claims and obtaining any approvals needed for your intended use.
We may decline or stop work involving unlawful content, infringement, deceptive impersonation, or material we cannot lawfully use. We do not acquire permission to feature your project or testimonial in our marketing merely because you purchase a production; that requires separate permission.
Human direction and AI-assisted production
We may use AI-assisted tools for production tasks under human direction. The accepted brief should identify any synthetic presenter or voice treatment. Recreating a person's voice or likeness requires appropriate authorization for the specified use; general acceptance of these terms is not a substitute for that authorization.
Generated visuals and scenarios may be illustrative or dramatized. You must review the finished work for accuracy, appropriate disclosures, and suitability for the audience and use identified in your scope. We do not guarantee business results, platform acceptance, or exclusive copyright protection for every AI-generated element.
Review, enhancements, and approval
The included enhancement pass is one consolidated set of requested refinements within the approved brief, creating another finished option and carrying the selected treatment through both compositions. Earlier finished options remain available during the agreed project access period. It is not an unlimited revision service.
Script development is included. After story and script approval, requested changes that expand the accepted scope, such as a different production concept, additional duration, or additional preference passes, require a separate scope and price before work proceeds. Our production errors and failure to preserve confirmed meaning do not consume an enhancement pass. Meaning concerns are reviewed before classifying work or adding charges. Send consolidated feedback through the agreed review channel so the requested pass is clear.
We record your explicit approval of the identified final version or versions. Silence alone is not final approval. Review exports may include a RoughToFinal : ROUGH watermark and are for review rather than public distribution. Report a delivery error or failure to meet the accepted scope so we can assess and address it; these terms do not remove applicable remedies.
Finished work and working files
After full payment, we grant you a perpetual, worldwide, nonexclusive right to use, reproduce, distribute, display, and adapt the delivered finished production for your business purposes, subject to any third-party restrictions disclosed in your scope. An exclusive assignment, if needed, must be expressly agreed in writing.
We retain our pre-existing tools, templates, methods, and working files. Project files, prompts, software, editable source assets, and licenses to independently extract third-party components are not included unless expressly listed in your scope. Third-party elements remain subject to their applicable licenses. Your rights in your own supplied materials remain yours.
Delivery and optional hosting
Download and keep your own copies of the delivered files and captions. Included hosting begins when your viewing page is first published, not when you submit an inquiry or pay the deposit. Continued hosting is optional and separate from your right to use files already delivered and paid for.
A viewing page intended for public sharing is not a confidential review room. Agree publication and access expectations before release. Availability, continuation, cancellation, and expiry are described in the Hosting Terms.
Accounts and acceptable use
Protect your account access and promptly report suspected misuse. Access to a project is limited to its authorized participants. Do not attempt to access another customer's records, interfere with the website, distribute malware, or misuse private review links.
We may restrict access reasonably necessary to address a security issue, unlawful use, or a material breach, and will provide notice where practicable. Contact us if you need help accessing paid deliverables.
Responsibility and resolving concerns
We will perform the agreed services with reasonable care. We do not promise uninterrupted hosting or a particular marketing, revenue, or audience result. Contact us with a project concern so we can investigate and discuss an appropriate remedy.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, neither party is liable under the project agreement for indirect or consequential loss, and each party's aggregate liability is limited to the fees paid or payable for the affected project. This limit does not excuse payment obligations or restrict liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or matters that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Nothing here requires arbitration, waives a right to contact a regulator, or removes mandatory consumer rights. Any project-specific governing-law or venue provision must be stated in the accepted agreement and remains subject to those rights.
Policy versions and contact
We may update terms for future projects. The version included in your accepted scope continues to govern that project unless we both agree to a change or a change is required by law. Contact information for project, payment, and service questions appears below.
